Pros
- We started with Yammer before Microsoft got to it. It was a great tool for sharing information and building communities.
- We replaced a BLOG environment and used Yammer as a private network for one of our professional networking events "BarCode Network" in Las Vegas.
- Very interactive, share anything. Just like another product widely used today, but more private and designed for the enterprise.
- You can brand with your logos if you are using the enterprise version.
Cons
- It is a great product.
- We were able to join to markets together. Folks from our Las Vegas group are able to connect with our Phoenix group.
- Also is a great spot for internal "banter". Get it out of the email environment.
