Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Email Security Cloud Integrated

We currently use Mimecast Advanced Email Security for Anti Spam, Anti Spoofing and general email protection. Mimecast Advanced Email Security also provides URL checking, file checking and other useful tools which aid in our boundary e-mail protection.

  • The reduction in junk/spam and malicious mail has been a benefit to IT and the general staff
  • Being able to customise the various filters to our needs has allowed us to tailor the solution to how we require it to operate
Overall, the system and menus are relatively intuitive and easy to navigate. The options and customisations that can be used within the various filters and lists are useful and provide enough detail to have the system do what you would like. It is also intuitive in terms of the search properties within the various tooling within the platform allowing you to identify and resolve any issues.
We have integrated this with CrowdStrike and the process was relatively straightforward and simple. This allows Crowdstrike to cross check information from Mimecast Advanced Email Security and increases the ability of the Falcon complete team to be able to identify potential ingress of risky items and feed back to Mimecast Advanced Email Security to prevent further occurrence of these types of issues.
We actually use both products as they operate differently and provide different solutions to different problems.

Tessian Cloud Email Security Platform, CrowdStrike Falcon, Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF)
Mimecast Advanced Email Security does provide a really good service from mail archiving and protection to backup email access in the event that our own mail service goes down. The capability it has to reduce the amount of spam and malicious email is really good too. We have seen additional improvements over time based on our feedback to them on the system that they provide.
