Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Advanced Email Security

[...] are an information management company and we deal with data of all classifications every day, we need to ensure we take the utmost care with data and Mimecast Advanced Email Security helps us to combat Cyber threats and ensure our data and customer data is safe.

Cons

  • The dashboard and over GUI could do with some improvements
  • The way that multiple accounts are configured each with differing access can be confusing
  • The outlook plugin authentication does not always work well

I think some improvements could be made to the GUI for both end users and admins
The admin GUI does make it more difficult to integrate with, for example configuring policies against different domains or rules means you have to jump around the portal significantly and is a bit clunky.
This was a new implementation
We didn't switch we introduced Mimecast Advanced Email Security and it was a great decision as security is improved significantly and incidents have been reduced.

It has some great benefits both operationally and from a user training perspective. We live in a word where security is paramount and Mimecast Advanced Email Security allows us to ensure that we are taking the right steps. Overall Mimecast Advanced Email Security add to our suite of security products and protocols and allows us to be protected and compliant.
