Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Advanced Email Security

We use it for email scanning and filtering. It blocks a large number of phishing and spam emails and warns our users.

Pros

  • Blocks spam.
  • Blocks Phishing.
  • We manage the whitelist.
  • We have built rules such as impersonation protection.

Cons

  • Better tech support.
  • More use of AI/ Machine learning in understanding user behavior.
  • More availability search options in message tracking such as words in body of email.
  • Less false positives.
  • Option of longer retention of data (more than 30 days).
  • Easier management.
  • It has reduced risk.
  • It has increased email security.
  • Still email remains the most vulnerable.
