Works very well at many organisation's.

The policies are easy to create and manage.

Amazing product as we are able to deliver new content monthly to our users! The setup time for the training is also minimal and a monthly task is easily achieved.

This product makes training and testing our users easy. The automation and content works well and the phishing tests have helped keeper our company sharp and detecting real attacks. The reporting is helpful in reporting the progress of educating to our stakeholders. Having clear progress really shows the importance of the tool.

We use KnowBe4 to train and test our end users via email campaigns. It allows us to teach our end users the importance of cyber security awareness and how to spot common risks such as phishing and malware through fun and interactive courses. As some of the recent statistics point out, 1 in 3 data breaches involves phishing, and 20% of organizations faced a security breach due to a remote worker.
  • Interactive and engaging training campaigns.
  • Easy to administer.
  • Has native phishing plugins for Outlook.
  • Documentation is slow to update.
  • It has made end users paranoid because they do not want to get phished and have to do the training, so they have started marking everything as phishing, even company communications.
Overall, the training campaigns are fun and interactive. The product is easy to configure and administer and has integration into Azure AD and the native Outlook phishing plugin. This product has been a double-edged sword. It has increased our employee's awareness. However, it has made most so paranoid that they will report most emails as phish so they don't get caught and have to do the training.
It keeps the end-user engaged and does not dread having to do the training. It allows us to create campaigns to keep up with the security landscape and ever-changing security nightmare that an end user can cause.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has been deployed across two organizations to improve security awareness. We use it for training, ethical phishing as a training component, and review of questionable emails submitted by staff.
  • Training for end users
  • Ethical Phishing
  • Interface between users and IT on resolving questionable emails
  • Resolution/Identification of bad emails
  • It would be nice to let users go back to see work they have completed in training.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training does a great job at increasing user awareness. Through the extensive training materials, we have an ample selection. Their series, The Inside Man, has been extremely popular with the staff. Ethical phishing is very easily implemented and has gone a long way in making the staff more aware of potential threats found in email. With KnowBe4 PhishAlert we have a quick way to resolve any email the staff has a question on.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has a large selection. This allows us to keep the user engaged and also target specific audiences.

Used for general security awareness and best practices training for employees. Also, used for compliance testing (phishing) and monitoring organizational improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Training
  • Phishing tests
  • Large Content Library - Needs a way to identify recommended or popular content
  • User integration was a little bit difficult to set up initially
  • Automation logic for assigning additional training based on assessments
Cybersecurity training will always be viewed by some as a matter of compliance and KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training certainly checks the box for us. What's perhaps more important is that the modules are effective in changing culture and behavior. We have observed significantly higher levels of employee engagement around matters of information security after having received regular training and with testing users on identification of phishing messages.
The library is extensive. In some ways there is so much content that it can be a challenge to identify which training content to publish. There are multiple options for just about every topic and you can choose the lessons that best fit your organization's style and culture.

Currently we use KnowBe4 during the onboarding process for new associates. We specifically focus on the cybersecurity information so our users can be aware of the various pitfalls that they may face. Phishing, phone scams, marketing scams, etc. are a few examples of where we focus user awareness.
  • Real life examples of "bad actor" attempts.
  • Video repository for ease of use for trainers.
  • Download file formats and compatibility with HR systems.
Per earlier comment, KnowBe4 has a vast amount of scenario-based training available that helps our user to identify, avoid and report on malicious activities.
The ever-evolving security footprint makes it hard to keep up with training of users. KnowBe4 makes that much easier and keep their content relevant which in the long term protects my organization and allows for training to be fluid with the times.

It is being used across our organization, which includes a hospital, 8 health clinics, a retirement home, and an Alzheimer’s unit. Prior to KnowBe4 our security posture was very weak and our employees did not take CyberSecurity seriously. KnowBe4 has helped us turn this completely around. Our click rates have gone down significantly.
  • The trainings themselves are quick, easy, and get right to the point.
  • Staff have commented that training is actually fun to do.
  • The control center is easy to use and very in-depth.
  • Customer service is top notch too!
  • Their in-services are very informative.
  • I think some of the videos could be improved. Some of them seem a little geared towards children.
Prior to KnowBe4, we had trouble with employee engagement regarding CyberSecurity. It’s been such a difference since and I am 100% satisfied. Even exceeded expectations. We had specific departments that were having trouble and KnowBe4 let us tailor to them. After a few months their compliance has increased significantly too.
It has made it a lot easy instead of us trying to piece together material. And their content stays completely up to date. They also hold virtual in-services which are very informative. You can definitely stay up to date on any new features or updates coming through. The trainings themselves are fun and interactive and staff seem to enjoy doing them.
I cannot say enough good things about KnowBe4. It really is a great product. Their support is top notch and their staff really know the product. We have had very fast response and turn around on any concerns we have needed help on. Their assistance is one on one and they make sure we are completely trained.

I have taken this training in my organization to make sure we are on top of our game when it comes to cyber security, I share my findings with the department, team, and organizations, one business problem this has solved is we discovered a new type of phishing scam based on the training we got.
  • Make users aware of new types of phishing scam.
  • Is up to date on cyber security.
  • Communications of findings well.
  • Provide more documentation.
  • Hold more seminars.
  • Talk more about zero day attacks.
KnowBe4 is the world's largest integrated platform for security awareness training combined with simulated phishing attacks. Their 5, 15, 25, and 45-minute basic training modules specialize in making sure employees understand the mechanisms of spam, phishing, spear-phishing, malware, and social engineering, and are able to apply this knowledge in their day-to-day job.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is relied upon as the foundation for all staff cybersecurity awareness training. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training training is used for all staff onboarding. All employees are repeatedly phished during each year to keep their skills sharp. If any staff make a mistake, they are provided with instant feedback, in the moment, providing reinforcement training with the exact email that caused them to click.
  • Comprehensive training modules provide exposure to the most current risks
  • Immediate feedback training when users make mistakes during phishing campaigns
  • Abbreviate and summarized training modules for efficient staff training reinforcement
  • Semi-annual customer success manager check-ins are an important touch to help ensure organizations are getting the most value out of their platform
  • Reporting metrics can be difficult to read if an organization does not use, or is not able to implement, all of the features of the product suite. Mostly specifically when looking at comparison risk to other like organizations.
Excellent for staff onboarding. Quite strong for employee refresher training. The phishing campaigns are excellent and well matched to our industry - to the point of being 'too realistic' at times thus garnering complaints from employees feeling they are being intentionally 'tricked' by the organization.
I believe this is one of the most important features. In our vertical, and I presume most others, the bad guys are constantly adjusting their tactics. Having fresh content that is not only relevant, but realistic, provides precisely the practice that our staff must have in order to be successful in our overall cybersecurity posture.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is used by all of the adult users in our educational organization. This platform helps train users in what to look for in emails so that they don't fall prey to phishing scams. This helps protect our entire network.
  • Test phish emails.
  • Training that is engaging.
  • Up-to-date topics.
  • I would like to see the platform be a little easier to use overall. It can be tricky figuring out how to add new training.
  • Better notifications when someone has clicked on a phishing test email that explains in more detail what they have done.
This is a great platform for education. It helps educate our staff on what to look for in emails and has made people much less "click-happy" when they receive strange emails. People now think much more about what they are doing than they did before we implemented KnowBe4.
Fresh content keeps us up-to-date on current trends and issues in the security awareness sector. Staff can receive fresh training that relates to current events going on in the world that may jeopardize our organization.

We use KnowBe4 for both security awareness training and phishing simulations. The training and assessments help us identify individual knowledge gaps and then offer targetted training to address these areas. We find this approach for more productive than simply enrolling the whole workforce on the same training programs.

The Phish Alert Button has been a revelation, with reports of phising emails going up monthly. Over 50% of phihsing simulations are reported while the reporting of genuine phishes has also increased.

  • Short, relevant, training.
  • positive feedback that the training is useful!
  • Smart groups to automatically enroll staff based on their personal results
  • 3rd party integrations
  • Refresh video content more frequently
  • Improve ECC report to remove olod breach information
Particularly good for quickly asssessing a users level of knowledge, and dynamically providing them with training to upskill them in the areas that they are the weakest in. The reporting is excellent and the automated reminders take all the administration away from your team so they can focus on bigger ticket items.
We've been able to demonstrate real progress to both internal stakeholders and regulators and insurers. Seeing how staff interact with phishing emails allows us to tailor communication with them to help them improve their overall knowledge and awareness.

The SAPA has been fantastic and identify individuals weak areas, and the dynamic groups has allowed us to push content to these users that is relevant.

We've been using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for a while. In 2019 I redesigned the program, adding training more often and using the additional tools available, such as Second Chance. The challenge was how to get people engaged with additional training and one big benefit was the Inside Man. This video training is fun, users liked it and always asking for more.
  • Content, high diversity of content available
  • Phishing Campaigns. Easy way to create it, and a low effort to manage.
  • Second Chance: It will force people to think twice before clicking on a URL
  • PasswordIQ: Simple way to manage and identify weaknesses in the passwords
  • Integration with Proofpoint: Phishing Alert button doesn't work with Proofpoint Antispam
  • Training: Apply auto training based on user score
  • Badges: Knowbe4 developed the badges but it was never updated. Use Apple activities as an example. Challenges....
  • User Details is a tab for each user. The easiest way for each use track the performance
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training will fit pretty well in any kind of scenario where an email is a tool.
Adherence to the program. If the content is not exciting, people will not perform the training.

We use it to raise awareness of external security threats and security best practices. We were hit with ransomware twice over the summer of '22. One of those attacks was traced to an email exploit. We are using this at all five of our tv stations throughout the southeast for basic email security as well as targeted training for individual departments. We also touch on social engineering and physical security.
  • Raising user awareness of infection vectors.
  • Keeping the training simple enough that users can stay engaged while still covering all of the information.
  • Ease of training setup as well as overall management and reporting.
  • I'd like the ability to assign smart groups during single user creation.
  • When training is retiring it would be helpful to see a link to it's successor.
  • Maybe add sample or generic training campaigns that can then be customized by the admins.
It's well suited in any environment that has access to the world wide web. There's no question in my mind that anyone who uses email or browses the Internet should go through this training.
I can't think of any scenario where it would be less appropriate unless someone simply has no electronic access at all, which is a rarity these days.
We do quarterly refresher training throughout the organization. Since familiarity breeds contempt, it's nice to be able to create training campaigns with different content that the users haven't seen before. They're less likely to "phone it in" if the training is new to them.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is used to administer Security Awareness Training on a monthly basis. Additionally, remedial training is also given through this method and new hires are given an introductory lesson Security Awareness Training and what to expect. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training helps to train users on what types of attacks to look out for, red flags to look for, and how to use the Phish Alert Button to mark emails as a possible phish; and this extends company wide.
  • Train on the usage of the Phish Alert Button
  • Train on how to find red flags in a phishing email
  • Excellent metrics and reporting for training completion
  • Additional short and funny training videos
  • Ability to edit the correct answers for training modules
  • Ability to add images to training
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training suites our company well because of the breadth of different categories of training available. Not only just Security training, but also Compliance, HIPAA, and safety training is available. We can tackle training as soon as there is a new hire, all the way to training as a result of an incident or remedial training.
We have been able to tailor our training based on the current activities we see happening in the wild. We can also use different content to gamify training to make it more interactive. We started using theKnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform just over 6 months ago, and we made the change because of the ease of use of the platform and the fact that everybody gets a different email for simulations. The fact that our employees receive different phishing simulations on different days was a big win for us. In the past they use to tell one another about the simulation.
  • Phishing
  • Variety of training
  • Platform ease of use
  • phishing emails that go out bilingual.
After 6 short months, we are seeing a huge improvement on our staff's propensity to click on a phishing simulation. We used the previous vendor for over 10 years, and yet our organization's scores were not very good.
We love the videos created by KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training. The series is lots of fun for users and it's fresh and interesting.

We currently utilize KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to phish our users, provide security training and for ePolicy signoff. We have developed KPIs surrounding our phishing and training to allow us to see trends over time.
  • Phishing and templates
  • Policy Management
  • Training is very US focused.
  • In my opinion, training is often sending a strong message - you will be fired which does not align with our mission.
I recommend KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training quite often. It is refreshed quite often and has a lot of variety. I would recommend they review the content first as sometimes it is quite US oriented and may not align with Canadian laws and sometimes strong language (like you will be fired for non-compliance) may not align with your company.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has always implemented fresh content continuously and for companies who are continuously offering training like us this means we always have new training content to use.

I use it for mandatory cyber security training, ad-hoc trainings on specific topics, simulated phishing, and newsletters.
  • Great content
  • Easy to use tool
  • Dashboard
  • Option to minimize the list of content under a live campaign. If the content is more, I have scroll down or up to find another campaign.
  • Have a separate section to show policies and other documents rather than showing under training campaign.
It has great training content, engaging videos, short and to the point.
More awareness among users.

We perform monthly phishing campaigns and annual security awareness training. We also use the PhishER module so employees can report suspicious emails.
  • The threat analysis of suspicious emails is fantanstic.
  • There are many types of training materials: tests, videos and posters.
  • Our customer service rep is always ready and able to assist our team.
  • Some of the training classes are too long for me to assign to employees.
  • The automatic resolution of phished email doesn't work great. It will say an email is 90+% a threat, but mark it as SPAM.
Any company that had email user really should have this product.
I like the monthly news letters and posters. I use the posters as our company screensavers.

KnowBe4 is a great tool for practical security awareness and phishing training. Its SAPA and Non-PST emails specifically are great assets when advising employees on the ever-changing battlefield of cyber security. In addition, the phishing campaigns' instant feedback through the PAB, and reactive red flags for failures are great tools when conducting tests.
  • PAB feedback to users as well as removal of real malicious emails
  • Large variety of email templates
  • Fun posters for around the office
  • Prebuilt landing pages
  • Reporting features
  • Smart groups options
Great for training and testing

Higher levels of licensing may not be ideal for smaller companies
Made onboarding training load lighter for admins and allows for continuous training for all users at multiple levels based on need.

Utilized product for phishing campaigns and security training. Able to see who is most likely to click on phishing links and can focus on those users with additional training.
  • many modules to select from
  • campaigns and training scheduling
  • dynamic groups
Best suited for training users on how to be safer while on the Internet, and how to recognize malicious intent.

It is used across the entire organization as part of our security strategy. This solves the problem of providing training throughout the organization as required by standard security practices.
  • Phishing Tests.
  • Offer additional training for those who click on a phishing email.
  • Phish Button.
  • It is performing as expected.
It is a great tool to send out training and the phishing test is a great tool to measure user response. For the chronic clickers, additional training is provided to reinforce the need for diligence in reviewing emails before clicking on links.
It has enabled us to offer additional training. We are now sending out the weekly Scam of the week and Security tips newsletters. This enables our users to be gently reminded every week to keep up the due diligence in reading emails. They are very well written and a short read. Some articles have sparked responses from our readers which made us re-examine some email policies.

KnowBe4 let's our users receive Phishing Training on a quarterly basis. We set up a program where if someone fails, they are auto enrolled into education that must be completed 2 weeks after they fail the phishing test. KnowBe4 allows all of this to be done through automation.
  • Phishing Education
  • Customer Support
  • None
KnowBe4 is a solid product that allows your organization to be "Phished" and enroll in education. KnowBe4 also has a very strong customer support team to walk you through how to use the product.
The new content gives our users a refresh of phishing education in different modules.

KnowBe4 is used by the entire company. We use it to promote security awareness and for regular phishing campaigns.
  • Very configurable phishing campaigns.
  • Good security/training modules.
  • Integration with AD/O365.
  • Reports could be better.
  • I wish the phishing campaign could be just a little more flexible on scheduling.
Everyone needs some sort of security awareness program, no matter how big or small you are. KnowBe4 is a great service for that. The phishing campaigns are one of the best around and whenever I go to security conferences 1. they always recommend you run regular phishing campaigns for your users and 2. KnowBe4 is almost always one of the services they suggest.
TBH the training content has not been used much except for initial training and for remedial training when/if people click on phishing emails. We do, however, plan on implementing a quarterly security newsletter and we will plan on using the training videos from KnowBe4 for that.
