Great phishing and training platform
This product makes training and testing our users easy. The automation and content works well and the phishing tests have helped keeper our company sharp and detecting real attacks. The reporting is helpful in reporting the progress of educating to our stakeholders. Having clear progress really shows the importance of the tool.

Made our company more aware.
We use KnowBe4 to train and test our end users via email campaigns. It allows us to teach our end users the importance of cyber security awareness and how to spot common risks such as phishing and malware through fun and interactive courses. As some of the recent statistics point out, 1 in 3 data breaches involves phishing, and 20% of organizations faced a security breach due to a remote worker.

- It has made end users paranoid because they do not want to get phished and have to do the training, so they have started marking everything as phishing, even company communications.
It keeps the end-user engaged and does not dread having to do the training. It allows us to create campaigns to keep up with the security landscape and ever-changing security nightmare that an end user can cause.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has been deployed across two organizations to improve security awareness. We use it for training, ethical phishing as a training component, and review of questionable emails submitted by staff.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is A-Ok
Used for general security awareness and best practices training for employees. Also, used for compliance testing (phishing) and monitoring organizational improvement.

The library is extensive. In some ways there is so much content that it can be a challenge to identify which training content to publish. There are multiple options for just about every topic and you can choose the lessons that best fit your organization's style and culture.
Currently we use KnowBe4 during the onboarding process for new associates. We specifically focus on the cybersecurity information so our users can be aware of the various pitfalls that they may face. Phishing, phone scams, marketing scams, etc. are a few examples of where we focus user awareness.

KnowBe4 is just a fantastic product!
It is being used across our organization, which includes a hospital, 8 health clinics, a retirement home, and an Alzheimer’s unit. Prior to KnowBe4 our security posture was very weak and our employees did not take CyberSecurity seriously. KnowBe4 has helped us turn this completely around. Our click rates have gone down significantly.
- The trainings themselves are quick, easy, and get right to the point.
- Staff have commented that training is actually fun to do.
- The control center is easy to use and very in-depth.
- Customer service is top notch too!
- Their in-services are very informative.
- I think some of the videos could be improved. Some of them seem a little geared towards children.
It has made it a lot easy instead of us trying to piece together material. And their content stays completely up to date. They also hold virtual in-services which are very informative. You can definitely stay up to date on any new features or updates coming through. The trainings themselves are fun and interactive and staff seem to enjoy doing them.

I have taken this training in my organization to make sure we are on top of our game when it comes to cyber security, I share my findings with the department, team, and organizations, one business problem this has solved is we discovered a new type of phishing scam based on the training we got.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is relied upon as the foundation for all staff cybersecurity awareness training. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training training is used for all staff onboarding. All employees are repeatedly phished during each year to keep their skills sharp. If any staff make a mistake, they are provided with instant feedback, in the moment, providing reinforcement training with the exact email that caused them to click.

- Reporting metrics can be difficult to read if an organization does not use, or is not able to implement, all of the features of the product suite. Mostly specifically when looking at comparison risk to other like organizations.
I believe this is one of the most important features. In our vertical, and I presume most others, the bad guys are constantly adjusting their tactics. Having fresh content that is not only relevant, but realistic, provides precisely the practice that our staff must have in order to be successful in our overall cybersecurity posture.

KnowBe4 helps catch phish!
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is used by all of the adult users in our educational organization. This platform helps train users in what to look for in emails so that they don't fall prey to phishing scams. This helps protect our entire network.

- Up-to-date topics.
- I would like to see the platform be a little easier to use overall. It can be tricky figuring out how to add new training.
- Better notifications when someone has clicked on a phishing test email that explains in more detail what they have done.
Fresh content keeps us up-to-date on current trends and issues in the security awareness sector. Staff can receive fresh training that relates to current events going on in the world that may jeopardize our organization.

Know your users B4 they know themselves!
We use KnowBe4 for both security awareness training and phishing simulations. The training and assessments help us identify individual knowledge gaps and then offer targetted training to address these areas. We find this approach for more productive than simply enrolling the whole workforce on the same training programs.
The Phish Alert Button has been a revelation, with reports of phising emails going up monthly. Over 50% of phihsing simulations are reported while the reporting of genuine phishes has also increased.

We've been able to demonstrate real progress to both internal stakeholders and regulators and insurers. Seeing how staff interact with phishing emails allows us to tailor communication with them to help them improve their overall knowledge and awareness.

We've been using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for a while. In 2019 I redesigned the program, adding training more often and using the additional tools available, such as Second Chance. The challenge was how to get people engaged with additional training and one big benefit was the Inside Man. This video training is fun, users liked it and always asking for more.

Adherence to the program. If the content is not exciting, people will not perform the training.
We use it to raise awareness of external security threats and security best practices. We were hit with ransomware twice over the summer of '22. One of those attacks was traced to an email exploit. We are using this at all five of our tv stations throughout the southeast for basic email security as well as targeted training for individual departments. We also touch on social engineering and physical security.

We do quarterly refresher training throughout the organization. Since familiarity breeds contempt, it's nice to be able to create training campaigns with different content that the users haven't seen before. They're less likely to "phone it in" if the training is new to them.
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is used to administer Security Awareness Training on a monthly basis. Additionally, remedial training is also given through this method and new hires are given an introductory lesson Security Awareness Training and what to expect. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training helps to train users on what types of attacks to look out for, red flags to look for, and how to use the Phish Alert Button to mark emails as a possible phish; and this extends company wide.

We have been able to tailor our training based on the current activities we see happening in the wild. We can also use different content to gamify training to make it more interactive. It allows flexibility and the ability to get as serious about training as we want to get, or how fun with training we want to get.
We started using theKnowBe4 Security Awareness Training platform just over 6 months ago, and we made the change because of the ease of use of the platform and the fact that everybody gets a different email for simulations. The fact that our employees receive different phishing simulations on different days was a big win for us. In the past they use to tell one another about the simulation.

Security training done right!
We currently utilize KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to phish our users, provide security training and for ePolicy signoff. We have developed KPIs surrounding our phishing and training to allow us to see trends over time.

I use it for mandatory cyber security training, ad-hoc trainings on specific topics, simulated phishing, and newsletters.

We perform monthly phishing campaigns and annual security awareness training. We also use the PhishER module so employees can report suspicious emails.
- The threat analysis of suspicious emails is fantanstic.
- There are many types of training materials: tests, videos and posters.
- Our customer service rep is always ready and able to assist our team.
- Some of the training classes are too long for me to assign to employees.
- The automatic resolution of phished email doesn't work great. It will say an email is 90+% a threat, but mark it as SPAM.
I like the monthly news letters and posters. I use the posters as our company screensavers.

Great Security Awareness Platform
KnowBe4 is a great tool for practical security awareness and phishing training. Its SAPA and Non-PST emails specifically are great assets when advising employees on the ever-changing battlefield of cyber security. In addition, the phishing campaigns' instant feedback through the PAB, and reactive red flags for failures are great tools when conducting tests.

My thoughts on KnowBe4
It is used across the entire organization as part of our security strategy. This solves the problem of providing training throughout the organization as required by standard security practices.
- Phishing Tests.
- Offer additional training for those who click on a phishing email.
- Phish Button.
- It is performing as expected.
It has enabled us to offer additional training. We are now sending out the weekly Scam of the week and Security tips newsletters. This enables our users to be gently reminded every week to keep up the due diligence in reading emails. They are very well written and a short read. Some articles have sparked responses from our readers which made us re-examine some email policies.

Phish with the best; KnowBe4!
KnowBe4 let's our users receive Phishing Training on a quarterly basis. We set up a program where if someone fails, they are auto enrolled into education that must be completed 2 weeks after they fail the phishing test. KnowBe4 allows all of this to be done through automation.

KnowBe4-Security Awareness for Everyone!
KnowBe4 is used by the entire company. We use it to promote security awareness and for regular phishing campaigns.
- Very configurable phishing campaigns.
- Good security/training modules.
- Integration with AD/O365.
- Reports could be better.
- I wish the phishing campaign could be just a little more flexible on scheduling.
TBH the training content has not been used much except for initial training and for remedial training when/if people click on phishing emails. We do, however, plan on implementing a quarterly security newsletter and we will plan on using the training videos from KnowBe4 for that.
