Overall Satisfaction with Momentum.io

We use Momentum to power just-in-time alerts to our team's (in Slack), scheduled reports (in Slack), Gong call summaries (in Slack), and AI-powered automation to fill in field values. These alerts in Slack can also include buttons to take further action, I.E. update a stage, status, etc.

These workflows enable faster response times, improved data accuracy, and actionable insights for our teams.

There are many specific use cases within these workflows that support our different sales, marketing, and ops teams. We've seen tremendous time savings from these workflows and it's been able to remove much of the manual chasing of field fill-ins and out-of-compliance opportunities, etc.

Pros

  • Greater visibility when errors occur and why
  • Better filtering in admin views (i.e. see "Created By" user)
  • Line of sight into roadmap items
  • Saved time of our reps to locate important events on Salesforce records and then take action
  • Improved data quality and fill rates on long text fields
  • Opportunity velocity has increased
  • Pipeline hygiene has improved
The learning curve is extremely low. Almost anyone can get started building workflows. To the point, we have many sales reps who can create their own alerts and/or determine deal room criteria. I had never used Momentum before I joined Ramp and was building and updating existing workflows on my first day.
For some reason I cannot select Rattle nor Slack Elevate but I would compare to those and the flexibility and support from Momentum is far superior. We also felt confident that Momentum would continue to build and grow with us. They have lived up to that at this point and continue to be great partners.

My areas for improvement were pretty nitpicky. I've been extremely impressed with the overall function of Momentum + their level of support. We've been able to build some very complex builds that would not have been possible without their guidance. But, importantly, the administration layer is very easy to use and understand and the learning curve is minimal. The ability to build your own AI prompts is extremely valuable to generating the right output for whatever field value you're looking to fill in.

Momentum.io Support

We have a shared slack channel with Momentum and their responsiveness and attentiveness to our concerns and bugs is top notch. They are quick to investigate and do a solid job of providing updates throughout the eval process. They typically resolve and respond rather quickly. The only reason this isn't a 10 is due to what I perceive as occasional resource constraints. Sometimes it does take a bit to hear back and the updates aren't ALWAYS proactive. I'm being nitpicky, but I think there's some room for improvement before calling this a 10/10.

Yes, we did because we felt this tool has so much opportunity for providing value that we wanted to remove any and all obstacles from our team to extract it. I would say the cost is well worth it. It's a very engaged and knowledgeable team that is always willing to help.
We were having trouble figuring out how to generate the right output for our AI-based field fill for a critical process in our opportunity pipeline. We explained the problem and the team was willing to hop on multiple calls to work through generation of the right prompt. The end result was a satisfactory output that we've implemented across the business.
