Good but needs Improvement
Overall Satisfaction with Motive
I currently use the ELD & Dashcam. I also just signed up for the Motive credit card for fuel.
Pros
- The devices very rarely have an operating issue.
- Their support is usually very responsive
Cons
- Respond better to customer needs, it sometimes takes two or three phone calls and/or emails to address an issue (not troubleshooting)
- When they say they will email you with information, in my experience, it very rarely happens. Have to call back and remind them.
- Trying too hard to "sell" services. I feel it is obvious they are reading from a script, and I cannot get a word in edgewise. They are committed to reading the entire script.
- Safety has improved with the use of the dashcam.
Will advise after I use the fuel cards for a full quarter.
Drivers were using it prior to electronic logging being required, so we just stayed with them.
