Overall Satisfaction with Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is one allowed browser option beyond the default of Google Chrome. I personally prefer Mozilla Firefox as it is a cleaner interface and less (or no) ads generated the way Google does with Chrome. Unlike Chrome and Edge (which is not used in our organization), Mozilla Firefox seems to update regularly and be a great browser for all of the applications we use.

Pros

  • Limits ads
  • Syncs with other Mozilla Firefox users
  • Make bookmarking easy

Cons

  • Maybe have a better integration with mail clients other than Gmail.
  • Just an employee satisfaction thing with employees having a choice for their browser.
It does everything you can ask for in a browser but with less ads. I never have any issue opening websites, downloading materials, or watching online learning content. In addition, it is a very smooth interface for online collaboration through Teams or Zoom or other types of applications. I have never found anything that I could not do on Mozilla Firefox.
I will always pick Mozilla Firefox as my first choice because of the user friendly look and because of the reduction in ads that you see. My second choice would be Chrome because it is the preferred browser in many organizations but if given the chance I will always go to Mozilla Firefox.

Yes

I think that Mozilla Firefox is well suited as a less ad intensive browser for Chrome users and Edge users. The themes and templates are also really nice. However, if your organization is a strict Microsoft shop or Google shop, you may not be allowed to stray from their preferred browsers.
