I am a medical coder so I use it to make diagnosis corrections and audit provider charts.

We currently use mobile one and dragon. These use are useful to our providers because it has reduced the documentation burden and allowed providers to focus more time on patient care. We are currently looking to get ambient assist to further help our providers.

Usability

Nextgen meets the ease of use and flow for the day-to-day use.
It is also quick to learn and NextGen has the resources available to assist if any issues arise.

Alternatives Considered

Cerner Millennium

Cerner seems to be more for inpatient care and NextGen is much easier to navigate throughout.

Nextgen seems to have been built for outpatient medical practices.
We struggle a little more when using it for behavioral health. The flow and template options are limited for behavioral health.
