Overall Satisfaction with Okta

We currently use Okta to provide Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) access to our internal and external websites.

Pros

  • Okta does a great job of syncing our AD users to their user list.
  • Okta does a great job of provisioning new user access to the group they have been put in.
  • Okta can be leveraged in different applications.

Cons

  • Okta could build an access point agent
  • Okta user interface needs work and the tabs don't work at all.
  • Easy turn around to give user access
  • Fast customer care/service
  • Knowledge transfer is easy and quick
N/A - I haven't used any others.
We have already built our environment around Okta so mostly we are going to stay with Okta.
I wouldn't recommend Okta to a colleague who didn't need to leverage third party applications.
