Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Okta as our SSO for all the platforms and software at the company, as well as to use any work related software on mobile devices. I believe it pairs well with google suite which is what we use.

Independent Platform

We use Okta to keep all of our apps/software in one place and utilize the single sign on feature. This way from one page we can get into almost everything. However, sometimes when you click into something, it will not log you in and the username and password have to be entered manually anyway, which is annoying.

Likelihood to Recommend

I like it as an SSO. However, the pop up when logging into something is very annoying, especially if I am already logged in. Okta also has issues remembering usernames, and sometimes even if you click to update the password, it will not update and so the next time you log in, the password will be incorrect.

It also chooses new passwords that are impossible to remember, so if you use that and Okta doesn't save it, it can be impossible to log in
