Our medical practice needs a secure way to relay phone calls from hospitals, patients, and doctor's offices to our providers. OnPage provided this service, allowing providers to avoid the use of pagers, while also allowing us to track when messages were sent and viewed. It also allows messages to be forwarded from one user to another, which is helpful when staff sends the message to the wrong provider.
Pros
- Relays information to users.
- Allows tracking that user was contacted and when they viewed the message.
- Allows messages to be forwarded to others in the practice if needed.
Cons
- I personally had no success updating my contact list so on the rare occasion I needed to forward a message, I had to manually type in the user's nickname.
- Ability to track when a message was sent and viewed.
