Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

We use Optimizely Content Management System a ton on about 25 websites. We have a franchise option where we inherit content from a main folder. Our marketing team maintains the websites and haven’t had a lot of major issues.

It has been great. We are trying to get Google Analytics setup correctly and also ODP. There are so many options that we have I am afraid that we are missing a lot of great products because we don’t have them setup yet.
Two years. We had Verndale assist with this because of the complexity of our website. It wasn’t all CMS items we also have several custom tools that we built that caused the time frame to be large.
It is a great system. There are a few things that I would like to customize to fit our business needs but overall it is a great system with lots of potential future for us.
Optimizely Content Management System is a much better system that allowed the customization that Adobe Connect did not offer.

Optimizely Content Management System's Version 11 has pretty basic from look and feel. I am sure if we upgrade it will be more user friendly. The permissions around content is also pretty confusing for our end users. Currently they have to manually move it from ‘For this page’ to a specific folder so we can add permissions. They usually have to call me because they don’t remember how to do that.

Using Optimizely Content Management System

20 - The represent the marketing team and specialized sales teams
2 - We have one lead developer that helps troubleshoot and identify ways to improve the system. There is one backup person that helps out as much as possible. Opti knowledge is a must along with react and c# skills are needed.

We love the options that we have with it and the direction that it is going. Support is also amazing and a huge plus to keep renewing the system.

We liked that it had so many 3rd party integrations. From the demo it looked like it was easy to use. We also liked that there were so many 3rd party vendors that we could use to help implement the product.
I don't think that I would. We asked several vendors the same questions and Opti was the best fit for our business needs.

No we did not get premium support. It was too expensive from what I was told.
I asked to remove someone from the system and if I could do an audit of the users. The support said yes and provided the listing of users. They re-ran the report just to ensure that it was accurate and we didn't miss anyone. They always make sure that we are taken care of.
