It's used for quantitative model data processing, and has solid support for our use cases.
Pros
- Customer support.
- Serverless compute.
- Zero infra solution.
Cons
- It's not open source.
- It's pricier than open-source alternatives.
- Outdated docs at times.
- A huge reduction in engineering costs.
- We didn't have to pay up front costs for hardware.
For us, it was no contest. Oracle's ecosystem is top of the line for enterprise customers.
