Oracle CX Marketing (formerly Oracle Marketing Cloud) is being used by our marketing department to automate our marketing operations and strategies. It helps us to execute our email marketing and lead nurturing processes while integrating with our SalesForce CRM for effective lead management.

  • It provides features such as dynamic content and progressive profiling for personalization
  • Easy creation of landing pages and web forms
  • The platform can be a bit confusing; the same is true of the process for setting up segments
  • The platform is expensive as compared to similar products that offer similar features
  • Customization is difficult after a process has been automatically scheduled
The platform is powerful and offers the ability to scale marketing efforts if handled correctly. Pricing and how seamlessly the platform integrates with a company's CRM are the main deciding factors. The customer training and support provided by Oracle have always been great and allow users to quickly get accustomed to the tool.
Oracle CX Marketing (formerly Oracle Marketing Cloud) is well suited for an organization that wants to practice lead nurturing and automate their marketing efforts while saving on investments. Also it is effective mainly in organizations that have a technical marketing specialist in house to manage the platform as data and workflows, as they can be complicated. Organizations that just focus on one-to-one email sends would not be able to fully utilize the platform, especially considering the high cost of the tool.
