Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

Our developers/website/email/online services for customers are resolvable by Oracle Dyn Managed DNS.

Pros

  • Stability and security are the main reasons for using Dyn DNS.
  • Not having to worry about DDOS attacks on DNS.
  • 2-factor authentication for users is a must.

Cons

  • Expensive.
  • Not only under our own control so issue with audits.
  • Not always user-friendly.
  • High availability is always good.
  • The cost of DNS is an issue
  • No service like open DNS for stopping fishing attacks.
Always quick response and helpful.
Not always user friendly.
Well suited for high-availability, not something for a very small company due to costs.

    Thank you for taking the time to share this valuable feedback. As the future of the combined Oracle and Dyn Edge Services platform becomes more clear, User Experience has been a major focal point. I don’t anticipate a single grand unveiling of a new look and feel but rather a regular release of iterative improvements.
