Overall Satisfaction with Oracle eBusiness Suite

It has been our company ERP for the past 15 years. It is used for general accounting, payables, receivables, and POs.

Pros

  • Excellent reporting capabilities
  • Very stable system
  • User friendly

Cons

  • Not cloud based
  • Administration is complicated
  • Use of Java is problematic
  • Business growth without having to grow administrative employees
  • Expensive upgrades
Fusion is basically the new ERP from Oracle and it is a better version of E Business Suite. We are migrating to Oracle Fusion.
It well suited for medium to large businesses. This is because it is more on the expensive side but it does compensate for that with functionality.
