Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua

Oracle was our lead gen machine. We used it to compose new email campaigns to drive people to our landing pages (all built within Eloqua). We were able to create complex drip campaigns and more simple, targeted emails so that prospects and clients were receiving information from us on a regular basis.
  • Complex email campaign flows.
  • Lead capture/information collection.
  • Reporting (while complex, it's very helpful).
  • Streamlining the interface or ease of reporting.
  • Building landing pages and emails in simpler templates (often a client responsibility).
  • Speed and integration with Salesforce (I believe the information was sent back and forth once a day, or a few times a day)?
Once Eloqua was embedded into our organization, it was widely adopted and our entire marketing team was onboard. There were specialists that helped design landing pages and others that helped with reporting. But each of the marketing managers could develop, create, and run their own campaigns - target contacts that we had in our database, and collect/pass leads.
  • Without Eloqua, no emails would be sent, no webinars would be hosted, and no leads would be collected. The ROI, therefore, is priceless.
  • Tens of thousands of leads were created across the last few years.
  • Tens of thousands of contacts were added into our database through forms built in Eloqua (on our website, and separate landing pages).
While HubSpot and Marketo may be somewhat more user-friendly, Eloqua seems a bit more robust than those systems. The lead capture and reporting seem to have more detail, and Eloqua worked well with our website, webinar platform, and Salesforce. For the volume of emails/campaigns we were running, and the number of people we had in the system, it made sense for us to use Oracle.
From start to finish, we were able to design a campaign flow and all of the emails that would be sent in that campaign. We would create wait-steps, emails, landing pages, and forms all within the platform.
