Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

Paychex Flex is used by our HR Department to access payroll journals/reports and paystubs, and it is used by our employees to access their paystubs and W-2s. I know that we can also use it to upload our own payroll, but we aren't using it for that just yet.

Pros

  • The set-up is intuitive and makes sense.
  • The reports and paystubs are easy to access.

Cons

  • I wish there was a 'middle ground' category for employees that are 'inactive' in the company but still receiving severance. I would like inactive employees not to show up in the directory for other employees to see, but that doesn't seem to be possible.
  • This has reduced the amount of time I have to spend sending individual paystubs and W-2s to employees.
