Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

Manage time cards, time off schedules. Process payroll, print out payroll reports and do the journal entries that are necessary. This is a big time saver to have Paychex Flex process all payroll checks and payroll taxes. I don't have to worry about dead lines or possibly forgetting to process the payroll taxes.

  • Reports save a lot of time for 401k census and workers comp audits
Positively - Retirement data summary report are great for making the 401k contributions. Deduction register is great for tracking monthly deductions for employees. Payroll Journal is great to look at before posting payroll.
Not all employees at Paychex Flex are experienced with common payroll questions, concerns and requests. My payroll specialist that I have now it very experienced and I can count on him to do things correctly. My last payroll specialist was the complete opposite.
I have used Heartland Payroll, Payroll 1 and ADP. They don't come close to the quality of Paychex Flex.

Paychex Flex is a very good Payroll company to use. Pretty easy to use. Quality reports.
Payroll is easy to process, the reports are easy to read. Checks are always delivered on time.

Yes - We were using Heartland Payroll. Heartland was not capable of doing the things that Paychex can do.

We did not purchase premium support because we didn't feel like we needed it.
It was tax time and had year end adjustments that needed to be made to W-2s, and my payroll specialist was spot on.
