Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

Payroll, direct deposit, W-2, quarterly taxes.

  • Printing reports for specific transactions or vendors.
  • We are such a small non-profit we don't use these features.
Positively - Each grant's nine departments must be invoiced individually. The Department summary has been the most helpful. I customize most of the reports I run by department and dates.
Since I'm a Volunteer and not an accountant, they have been able to answer my questions concerning the payroll, rate changes, and new employees. They sometimes do the changes for me instead of my accessing the website.

It's sometimes difficult to create reports to meet the exact information you need. As you use the system it does get easier, and you do have the capability to customize.
We are a very small non-profit that primarily works on health education grants from other non-profits. I'm a Volunteer, not an accountant. The customer service and our service representative have been very helpful with my questions and employee changes. There have been a few times when the incorrect amount was charged to a specific grant. Some grants pay at different rates, and it can be confusing.
