Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

We use Paychex Flex for our payroll processing and federal, state and local tax reporting.

  • Apple Notifications for App are not consistent
  • Efficient and Time saving payroll processing with call in system
  • Enhanced on-boarding functionality reduces time to enroll new hires
Positively - Payroll Journal, Employer Liability, Retirement Reporting and tracking, Tax documents and tax returns, Direct Deposit Detail and Employee earnings record reports all assist in the bi-weekly payroll processing, 401(K) contribution calculation, annual budgeting and interim forecasting.
The phone support has always been exceptional. The chat Bot feature is not very helpful. They are not a 24x7 company so after-hours issues with payroll have to be resolved the following business day.

The site is always available during business hours and routine maintenance is scheduled so there is no business interruption.
The ease of the call-in feature for Payroll reduces time spent on payroll processing. The reports are numerous and give us the information we need to book journal entries, track statistics and retirement plan information. The feed from Paychex Flex to our 401(k) company is seemless and requires no user intervention.
