Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Planful to budget, forecast, and analyze our business through reporting and structured planning. We create templates for different parts of our business that forecast forward and give us a fairly accurate view of the business. The reporting side of Planful allows us to create a plethora of reports while still having a lean FP&A team.

Collaboration with Planful

We have been able to integrate Planful within our field business fairly easily and shown them how to use Planful in an effective manner. This has helped to increase the accuracy of our forecasting immensely.

Suite of Capabilities

We have used Spotlight to create many decks with financial information for our BOD and executive suite multiple times. Without this tool, the amount of time we would have spent creating these items has made Planful pay for itself in the long run.

The best scenario to use Planful in my opinion is when needing to forecast a business with a single business model. It also works very well when there are high reporting needs at a company. I don't believe there are many instances where Planful cannot achieve the desired goals of the finance side of a company, maybe only when there are extreme amounts of data being used.
