Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We as an IT department need to be up to date, and Pluralsight is kinda a shortcut to get short, intense courses to familiarize all teams with the same concepts.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Translated to almost all languages.
Offline and mobile downloads.
Up-to-date courses.

Cons

More ways to search/browse. You can't filter/sort on ratings, etc.
Help center is still missing some of my questions.
Chatting support at least as premium user!
Cannot share into LinkedIn, only share post!

Return on Investment

Self-development technically.
Supports organizational goals.
Helps in decision making.
Guides team more accurately toward vision.

Alternatives Considered

LinkedIn Learning (Lynda.com) and Udemy for Business

It had more discounted offers back then... and still, more marketing is done. It's cheaper than LinkedIn Learning.

Downside, PluralSight is more [theoretical] than hands-on.

Each feedback I do for them, I get no response. Minimal communication and followups!

It is suited for big picture, and not for hands-on walk-through tutorials for example.

Unfortunately our Customer Success managers are allocated to bigger accounts and don't work closely with individual subscribers, some feedback tends to slip through the cracks. However we do have our Q & A feature and just announced more labs and hands on learning modules. Truth is Lynda might take you an 1" deep, Pluralsight will get you 6 feet below the surface and carry you through your development journey as you can check your progress and proficiencies. Also, the ability to take free practice exams before certs is something I've personally found SUPER helpful and has justified much of the cost. Though, I wish we had more coverage of creative courses but align our roadmap to the needs of industry and priorities of our customers. I'd be happy to forward any feedback you might have. Sorry to hear you had a poor experience with the platform. Pluralsight isn't for everyone, and that's ok. :)
