Overall Satisfaction with Projectplace
We started using Project Place as a collaborative PM tool that was at the right detail-level for our IT team. We use the Kanban boards extensively to manage action registers and project level status. Since the IT implementation we have had other departments approach us about the using the tool and we now have three departments making use of our account. Overall it is an excellent fit for our needs.
- Kanban boards are fantastic for task level tracking and assigning tasks to team members.
- Portfolio view allows me to get a 10,000 foot view of all projects in our technology division.
- Being a cloud-based product allows us to easily scale and collaborate with teams instead of over-using email.
- The interface for editing projects has a little bit of a learning curve but once you have it down it's fine.
- Projects better managed
- Better visibility in workloads
- Dashboarding is essential for me as a CIO.
We evaluated and use Inovtas' PPM tools in addition to Project Place. We looked at other tools early on but found none as effective.
