Proofpoint is used throughout or organization for email protection, DLP, encryption.

These are different products in a multi layered approach system and they are not comparable when it comes to how proofpoint works in our environment. Proofpoint is mainly used for email protection and data loss prevention and encryption. We use the cisco product mainly for web protection and filtering which help prevent any outside connections.
Cisco 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers (ASR 1000), Cisco 5000 Series Network Convergence System (NCS 5000), Cisco 800 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISR 800)
Its easy to manage and maintain.
