Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Qlik is being used by a couple of departments to address performance in various patient care/scheduling metrics. The data pulls from our electronic medical record.

Pros and Cons

Data presentation and visualization.
Ability to customize reports.
Processing large datasets quickly.

Formulas are hard to use/hard to figure out logic.
Training resources could be better organized.
Would like interactive training resources - I really have to rely on other users in my organization to better learn to use the platform and that approach has limitations.

We strive for data driven improvement and Qlik Sense allows for that.

Qlik Sense is great for making data readily available to pull various metrics and create reports. Qlik Sense is less appropriate for sharing reports with colleagues directly through the platform because there aren't many users in my organization. I typically have to download the data to Excel and share it in that format instead.

Qlik Sense: great at data processing but room for improvement to be able to use it to its fullest extent
