Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

I handle accounts payable for my company. I enter all my invoices and pay the bills out of Quickbooks. I also track banking transactions. We enter customer invoices and manage customer payments as well. It makes it easy to have everything in one place. We have several different accounts associated with our quickbooks solution.

Pros

  • Invoice tracking
  • Payment tracking
  • Easy reports

Cons

  • I wish we could add more than one customer with the same name.
  • The reports could be easier to configure
  • Employee payroll could be easier
I don't know that it scaled with our growth. The product is still the same as when we first purchased it.
The set up was easy. We have added users over the years and getting them set up has be good as well.
I don't think we've had any unexpected benifits.

I have had vendors send me duplicate invoices several months apart, since i enter the invoice numbers the system catches if i have entered that bill before or not. We decided not to use the payroll module anymore based on the way payroll is set up. It was hard to use and if something happened all my info would be lost.

Using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

5 - Main accountant, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable and inventory,
2 - We have the main person who coordinates updates and we have out IT person who can handle log in and technical issues.
  • Inventory

  • We have coordinated with bill.com to paybills online.
  • We can use a support to upload check numbers to our bank to discourage fraud.
  • It would be helpful if the report function would work correctly and be more user friendly.
We have used it for so many years and have got used to all the functions.
