Overall Satisfaction with React

Everything Frontend is React. I already used VUE and Flutter. Although they are great, React still dominates the market. Easy to find solutions, communities and people with enough knowledge to work with it in any part of the world. In India they are specializing on it and Full Stack evelopers are using it. If we add the power of React, the components and frameworks, even AI driven solutions are using React as their main technology. Of course the fact it is backed by Facebook and it came first, made it dominate the market. By being based on javascript or typescript makes it easy to learn and teach. The bugs are already well known and easy to solve whenever a problem pops up. To sum up, it is easy, came first and has the market.

Pros

  • Several libraries
  • Userbase knowledge
  • Easy to learn
  • Documentation

Cons

  • AI learning
  • Simplify examples for teaching
  • Standard solutions for common problems
  • Only positives
  • Easy to find people
  • Easy to create solutions
  • Fast learning
  • Self learning
  • AI ready
I've been using it for a while and even after a year away from it, it was very easy to come back. The concepts are solid, the logic is easy to understand, the Libraries, frameworks and components have little bugs, nothing critical. Security wise it is very solid as long as you know what you are doing or has someone that know and you can consult occasionally.
This was very difficult because Flutter is extremely easy to use and if you have React in the background, it makes it even easier. What makes Flutter a little better is the response, the components are rendered before the loading and that gives the user a better experience. The code is cleaner and faster to run because it is compiled before and that gives it an advantage. On the other hand, React is everywhere, everyone knows it (or should) and the tools available for it are endless. It is a hard comparison.

Evaluating React and Competitors

Yes - Wordpress: We decided to go with React to replace the website and give it another look and more functionalities. Not only that but now we can host it anywhere away from specific places and add new features. WE now have a better integration with other tools and have a better feedback from our users
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
WE can host React application anywhere in the cloud and can shift platforms like AWS, azure and others to host our application. React is easy to maintain and the job market has plety developers hat could improve the system. We were able to integrate it with different backends and databases creating a perfect platform to display our data and collect information.
I can't compare the past with the present since the tools we have today that compare to React are different from whet we have before. Back then React was the way to go, had a better support community and the errors were minimal but easy to correct. It was the most advanced tool for frontend development and the reputation was very good.
