Overall Satisfaction with GlobalMeet Collaboration

ReadyTalk is currently being used in the webinar department of my organization to host webcasts. It addresses the needs of my organization to have a place to host webcasts and provide an archive, as well as post webcast reporting. It is a platform to input slides, as well as offer the opportunity for attendees to respond to polling questions.
  • Allows you to insert polls and polling questions even after the tool is live.
  • Separates attendees from presenters (doesn't allow attendees to view the tool the same way, therefore not allowing them access to advancing the slides).
  • Doesn't require the need for presenters to "pass control" when advancing slides.
  • Good customer support.
  • Not a robust enough editing tool for recordings. Can be a very tedious and long process.
  • No social media integration.
  • Better phone sound quality.
  • Less instances of audio dropping or recordings not syncing up with original live webinar.
  • Event manager should stay on until end of webinar.
  • I can't say. I don't handle financials in my organization. But I would say the sound quality and the inability to download slides and CPE certificates has probably caused us to lose some of our audience.
I didn't personally select ReadyTalk, my organization did because it costs less than what we were currently using (ON24). ON24 allowed attendees the opportunity to download slides during the live webcast, and the opportunity to download a CPE certificate if they qualified after the webcast. ON24 did not allow you to move around slides or polling questions once the tool was live. I find post event reporting to be easier on ReadyTalk. The sound quality with ON24 was probably a bit better.
Good customer support. Less instances of audio dropping or recordings not syncing up with original live webinar. Event manager should stay on until end of webinar.
