Overall Satisfaction with Rebrandly

Rebrandly is being used by Codecademy to teach people about how APIs work in Javascript and how to make XML requests to interact with the Rebrandly API. It is used in the Javascript course and is a good demonstration of how it works.

  • Compared to some other websites, Rebrandly's domain name is somewhat longer.

Bitly has a somewhat shorter domain name, but it is more commonly used so it is difficult to find short paths when using it.
Their support is nice.

Rebrandly is great when someone just wants to shorten a URL to something because it is obscenely long.
