We use Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform to automate daily processes such as patching, maintenance, and deployments.

Pros

  • easy to use tooling

Cons

  • simplify the learning curve for execution environments
  • complexity of upgrading to Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.5
  • more built-in Ansible collections
  • lowered the number of hours spent patching
  • reduced the complexity of vulnerability remediation
  • improved the quality of life for admins
It is easy to use if you have experience with ansible-core and Ansible tower. But there's a learning curve when we introduce execution environments in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
