JIRA does particularly well on tasks and activities tracking.
It allows users to easily incorporate supporting documents with various formats.
Easy monitoring and summarizing and is also flexible on assigning and commenting on a task.

Cons

Sometimes the software is unresponsive
I also experiencing some bug occasionally
Comments are viewed and order historically, hence it's difficult to have context if commenting on older comments

I used Atlassian Jira to manage our daily work, track issues,track tasks, and handle project progress. Our development, QA and support team create tickets for bugs, features, change requests, improvements, production bugs, and tasks. With Atlassian Jira, every task is assigned to a team member, it has status, and is monitored until it's completed. I mainly use Atlassian Jira for tracking, sprint planning, and monitoring the project progress.

We can use boards and sprints to plan tasks for a specific time period.
Team members can comment on tickets, attach files, videos, images, and share updates in one place.
It also provide dashboards that help us to see tasks, issues, etc.

Cons

Atlassian Jira has many features which can make it confusing for a new users at the time of beginning.
If there are many projects, and tickets, then Atlassian Jira become slow.
Searching issues may take more time than expected.

We use JIRA for project and resource management. I create tasks and stories in JIRA and follow KANBAN methodology. Some of our teams track their work using Agile Scrum method. We can see the occupancy of a specific resource and measure productivity. We can log leaves, holidays, etc. and better manage team for critical projects.
