Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

In our organization, We use Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for server infrastructure including IDM, AAP and file servers. Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is also used for workstations to do engineering work.

Pros

  • It almost never crashes or has system errors.
  • It utilizes resources very well

Cons

  • Ease of use for non technical people
  • trusting active directory

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is very dependable leading to little downtime.
It is a very dependable OS, but is limited in the applications that it can run.
