Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Very secure OS for production environment. Very compelling for testing and security needs. Easy to maintain , install and keeping redundancy as well. Straight forward distribution of files with very much stability in the environment.

Pros

  • One of best secure and stable production environment to experience.
  • Super easy integeration experience with tools like ansible, cloud platforms and more.
  • Support team is knowledgeable and quick to help.

Cons

  • Cost of license is too high for everyone to purchase.
  • Most of the configs are done via the command line only.
  • Failures in resolving upgrade errors are difficult to understand.
  • Deployment and maintenance is easy for whole enterprises.
  • Perfectly secure and reliable VMs.

For the enterprise environment Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is one of the most reliable , secure and stable platform for any application testing , production work and keeping the secured backups as well. Not as much difficult if we have a exposure on CMD.
