Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat OpenShift

We use it for our CNF deployment as the blueprint solution

Pros

  • CNF Orchestration
  • Blueprint CaaS
  • Cluster Management

Cons

  • Roadmap alignment with applications on top of it
  • Upgrade automation
  • Automation of Application Upgrade on top of Red Hat OpenShift
  • It is unknown as of now but the Subscription based pricing might be an issue
  • Customers like blueprint solutions hence it should be good for CNF vendor
R&D is developing the applications on to Red Hat OpenShift only now so we have to see.
We are still evaluating.
