Overall Satisfaction with Sage 50

We use Sage 50 for accounting purposes in our business, as well as support other companies that implement and utilize Sage 50 for their accounting and payroll processing needs. We set up a network, a multi-user setup, server connections, and a firewall config to implement and support Sage 50 software. Keeping up with updates throughout the year and updating company files.

  • Better cloud version as we are forced to stay on local desktop app.
  • Saved us time and grief on accounts receivable management to make employees more efficient.
  • Payroll deductions and year ends are a breeze.
I find it very user-friendly, especially when new employees start out, as providing technical guidance to them makes our job a breeze. The multi-user setup was also straightforward to set up.
Among the competitors, Sage 50 was the easiest to start working right off the bat and logical to build our payment and reconciliation process. Some competitors were difficult to set up in multi-computer mode, and it was challenging to obtain support that acknowledged difficulties and technical bugs with the software. As a result, we ended up resolving issues through user forums.

Sage 50 excels in its core functions, and it does not cause us as many technical issues as our competitors. Accounting, Payroll, supply tracking, and other systems are all utilized and implemented throughout our organization.
