Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

This is the payroll and accounting system used

Pros

  • Storing of data
  • Input of invoices is easy
  • The standard reports are very useful

Cons

  • The chance to redo things easier
  • It is really hard to undo any mistakes
  • Quite a rigid system
  • It has improved efficiency of the bookkeeping
  • Accounts are far easier to be audited than previous paper system
  • Halved the amount of time to do year end accounts
It's a good, reliable system that can be used anywhere but is less flexible than other competitors in the market. It is easy to use with good standard reports but the reporting function is again generally inflexible. The integration is good between general accounting and payroll with payroll being very intuitive to use.
It's a very good system which is reliable and provides all the basics, I believe it is less flexible in making corrections to mistakes. There is no fixed asset module in the lower levels and therefore depreciation has to be worked out in a separate system which really is a waste of time.

Yes

The sales side is very simple as we use a customer till receipts and it equates into a cash sheet very well and therefore a daily invoice.
