Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

Use Sage Accounting regularly to compile accounts and VAT returns. The software if very easy to use and is ideal for business owners who are just starting out or want software that actually works.

Pros

  • Simple to create and submit VAT returns
  • Easy to view, amend and reconcile bank transactions

Cons

  • Could be easier to amend mistakes
  • Would like more flexibility around the chart of accounts
  • More reporting option would be helpful
  • Increased productivity
  • Streamlines processes to be more effective
There are some tweaks that could be made to improve usability however would be specific to each individuals needs. Overall the package works which is what most people need.

Sage Accounting works well for smaller sized businesses although it would work for larger ones too as long as the user knows what they are doing.

I have found it quite easy to provide training to clients.
