Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

We use Sage Accounting to send out Invoices and Statements; this is flawless and paperless. We also use Sage CoPilot to send automatic payment reminders, improving our cash flow. We also use the Automated Purchase Invoice function to upload all of our Supplier Invoices and create remittance advice. Sage has been a blessing, and with the introduction of CoPilot, we could not be happier with the product.

  • CoPilot for chasing Overdue Payments.
  • Statement Runs.

Cons

  • CoPilot will only improve with time.
  • Automated Statement Runs would be handy.
  • Dates chosen to highlight activity on the summary page could be better improved.
  • Being cloud-based, meaning I can work from anywhere, has had a massive ROI, as I am no longer tied to the office.
  • CoPilot has meant we can spend more hours creating work for our business than chasing for payments.
  • Statement Runs mean we do not have to spend half a day carrying out the tasks individually.
I was new to accounts and am constantly doing more through Sage than we have ever done in the company. Our accounts software has taken the stress out of many aspects of accounting. Highlights would be statement runs, purchase automation, and quick and professional remittance advice.

It suits us very well. I would like the mobile phone app to be easier to use to quickly create an invoice or mark a customer's payment. Statement Runs have massively reduced the amount of time we need to spend on the task. Being paperless has been brilliant for our carbon footprint.
