Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting

Sage Accounting allows our staff and volunteers to work anywhere and provides all the critical functions of charity financial management. It has revolutionized our ability to work with our accountants, submit our tax returns, and provide clear, legible accounts to funders, stakeholders, and trustees. Moving to Sage was easy; two years later, we wouldn't move back!

Pros

  • The system is accessible to all at different permission levels.
  • The system is user friendly and allows for quick changes on the fly
  • The cloud accounting allows for the product to be used on the move, with access granted to those who need it.

Cons

  • Links for charity accounting and support
  • Easier to access bank connection information.
  • SSO with other accounts in central portal to bridge, accounting, payroll and HR.
  • Being able to place card transaction fees with customers.
  • We have been able to cut our invoice chasing by 50% via automate processes.
The system is easy to use with availability for accessibility feature collaboration with other products.

The UI is streamlined, and the blade and system structure are well put together, so relevant items are paired.

Sage Accounting has allowed our organization to work fluidly with our accountants and auditors. Linking our online card payment with Stripe has allowed us to take payments quickly. Being able to send invoices and quotes centrally has allowed our teams to work more collaboratively to solve customer issues and improve cash flow.
