Sage Accounting Review
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Accounting
I use Sage Accounting to invoice customers, create quotes, keep track of vendor invoices, accounts receivable, inventory, and income statements. With this program I am able to automatically create invoices for customers and send them out automatically each month. I can view who has received the invoiced and when it's read which makes it a lot easier to keep track of why an invoice might be outstanding.
Pros
- Provides useful reports
- Makes creating invoices easy
- Keeps information organized and easy to access
Cons
- Recurring invoices will not send automatically to more than one email at a time.
- When sending invoices, I constantly need to refresh the cookies to prove I'm not a robot. Not a good feature for companies with a lot of customers.
- The Sage intelligence section is slow and often freezes or doesn't refresh properly.
- Automating invoicing saved 10 hours of labour each month
- Accurate reports of statement of accounts allowed us to find $19,000 in overdue customer invoices that were missed
Sage Accounting is more clearly organized and obvious when looking at different functions to use versus QuickBooks.
