Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Sales Cloud

We use it to manage our users for our AI product, for our salespeople to stay organized in their funnels, and for leadership to see how sales are going on a month-to-month basis and keep track of individual contributions. We also use it for marketing purposes to track our campaigns.

Pros

  • Kanban view is great, makes it easy to stay organized.
  • Keeping track of marketing campaigns and outbounds is very easy.
  • Communication between leadership and sales team is flexible and transparent.

Cons

  • Sometimes setting up the interface can be overly complex.
  • Depending on what level of salesforce you are paying for, the SLA for their service team to respond can take a decent amount of time.
  • Wish there was more connection between the salesforce apps like service and sales.
  • High impact on sales revenue.
  • Improved team productivity.
  • Increased visibility on performance by leadership team.
It's very scalable as it has a ton of features (but you do need an admin who understands how to leverage these features). Because of the various features, we've also needed to host onboarding sessions with our users so that they can familiarize themselves with the platform, which isn't always super user-friendly or intuitive.
  • Front
Salesforce sales can do everything Front does regarding email integrations and communicating with your peers. Still, it provides even more insight for our salespeople and leadership team. Although Front is cheaper, we decided the added productivity and visibility provided to the team would be well worth the higher price tag.

Do you think Salesforce Sales Cloud delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Salesforce Sales Cloud's feature set?

Yes

Did Salesforce Sales Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud go as expected?

No

Would you buy Salesforce Sales Cloud again?

Yes

It would be very well suited if you have someone with experience with Salesforce as your administrator and someone who can help you set everything up. However, sometimes the integrations and setup can be overly cumbersome. Otherwise, it is functional once you have everything set up and can help with everything outbound (sales and marketing are very well-built).
