Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud

We use SAC in various departments. In my department I am leading the implementation. It is being used for high-level information provided to the board. It helps to provide information to executives on the go and without any interruption.

Pros

  • Connects to different data sources easily.
  • Data blending is easy.
  • User friendly and works seamlessly in different sizes of devices.

Cons

  • Analytics designer is missing some functionalities that are present in Lumira Designer.
  • Some hiccups in the mobile version need to be addressed.
  • Changes happening frequently, it is hard to catch up and build at the same time.
SAC is connecting to SAP systems easily without any effort. It is a promising tool that SAP is investing heavily in.
It is fast and user friendly so it's definitely a good tool to provide info to executives. There is still room for improvement when using the tool at an operational level.
