Overall Satisfaction with SAP Ariba Contracts
SAP Ariba Contract Management is used as the place holder for all contract active or expired. All pertinent documents are secured and placed in the portal.
- It is used by sourcing and procurement to monitor contracts
- You can go paperless as documents are stored in the portal
- Each contracts are uniquely named by Contract Workspace number assisgned
- the numbering is limited to contract workspace or CW#, if it is used to RFP, numbers can be RFP# and not CW#
- for extension, it is nice to have a alphanumeric than numeric only
- contract term attributes does not need to have an email recipient , the budget owner & issuer are the email recipients
- Accurate reports if contracts are properly created
- it is good for decision making
- efficient for report
SAP Ariba Contract Management is more likely comprehensive, I am just using Cobblestone not too long vs Ariba
