Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform
The SAP BTP enables us to connect processes cross countries and cross business functions while integrating modern microservice technologies up to advanced services like AI. The platform is used by experts for advanced applications and is ready for citizen development in digital business teams. As it keeps expanding in technology capabilities constant innovation can be delivered through the platform. Question remains if this will be one day the real ERP and how to prevent from mushrooming developments on the platform. Keeping it clean overall.

Cons
- monitoring of applications and integrations form business perspective
- authorization management integrated with e.g. S/4 hana profiles
- concepts to avoid mushrooming of developments
- clear pricing model. Either consumption or pre payed fixed, not a mix.
- negative impact due to contract structure - we had to committ to volume but did not know how much
- positive impact in single applications e.g. sales order automation
- build of integration is about the same as for PI/PO no impact
I have seen and used at least one use case - Use case examples are good and well described. e.g. sales order automation.
