Overall Satisfaction with SAP Business Technology Platform

In my organisation we use SAP Business Technology Platform to make data easy to use. For example our sales numbers are all over place in excel making reports takes hours. Now this platform gives live dashboards, connect all systems. we can see product performance in any location quickly. This avoids mistakes, saves time. currently we are mainly using it for sales but planning to use for inventory and customer insights also

Pros

  • For ex: in our sales team before using this platform we had numbers coming from different regions in separate Excel sheets. Its bringing all our data together, making it easy to use
  • Previously it used to take lot of time collecting & checking everything, but still at times numbers didnt match. With this platform all the data is connected in one place and we can see live dashboards.
  • we built app on top of this, like tool to track customer followups, good for automation

Cons

  • We were automating process to send followup emails to customers after sale but logic setup is confusing it does not trigger as expected. We have checked multiple times if workflow ran which is little frustrating.
  • with live dashboards & automated data updates, we can see product performance instantly that helped us take decisions faster.
  • like tracking customer followups we built small tools on top of btp, which reduced lot of manual emails & reminders. Overall it made our work less errorprone more efficient
It makes my work easier. as explained in my previous feedback we had problem where our sales numbers from 3 regions never matched and every week spending hours fixing Excel sheets. using btp we built live sales dashboard which pulls data from all regions

ASAPP Customer Experience Performance (CXP)
In our company we used it to combine sales data from 3 regional systems. we had to copy paste numbers into Excel to check for mismatch it used to take almost full day every week. with this platform we created a live dashboard that updates automatically so I can just open it and see exactly which products are doing well in which region.
