Overall Satisfaction with SAP Datasphere

Migrated Calculations view to SAP Datasphere Graphical viewa nd also used the data by SAP Datasphere remote tables to create Analytical Models which can be exposed to SAC for Graphs . Also used the SAP Datasphere Analytical Models with SAC Excel-addin for Microsoft excel to create reports.

Very useful when compared to SAP BW. Easy to manage data and connect to various data sources. SAP vision is to improve more functionality and easy of use. Currently SAP BW is not that user frendly and the advantage SAP Datasphere brings to the users will benefit managements . A lot more usefully for development also.
Microsoft Asure database is the source for Databricks dataproduct for one of our projects. SAP Datasphere uses this source to develop Graphical view combined with the other data products to get the reports from Analytical Models. Also data is combined from various source in SAP Datasphere to get the data sets needs to create reports.

To combine the data from different sources both SAP and Non SAP and make a meaning full data set to expose the data and create reports for management, Also report SAP BW in future

Using SAP Datasphere

10 - SAP Datasphere is used as a alternative/replacement related SAP BW in our organization. Basically replacing the analysis for office AO reports and Dashboard in earlier used the source as SAP Native HANA calculation views logic replaced with the SAP Datasphere modelling using data builder graphical views and analytical views for reporting and dashboards.
15 - I find SAP Datasphere pretty easy if you already in SAP BW data warehouse experience, once you are familiar with the data and analytics warehouse logic you should able to easily pick up the sap datasphere features. Once you start using sap datasphere you will find it straight forward using it without much effort.

We are moving into using SAP datasphere heavily and replacing all of the SAP HANA native calc view logic to the sap datasphere graphical view which will reduce the legacy SAP BW data warehouse. Also need some more features such as debugging, sql preview and prompts enhancements so that we can generate the reports.
