Overall Satisfaction with SAP ERP
SAP ERP is used across different departments and multiple legal entity as our Group's transactional system (FI, CO and HR modules). My use of SAP is limited to the extraction of the information for the consolidation process (which is managed outside). With the help of SAP the information for the different legal entities is managed by a single application with a unique list of accounts and a unified reporting procedure.
- The interface is clean and intuitive. Besides that, SAP is a well-known standard wich is recognized and used also by many of our newly incorporated companies. This is clearly a pros in terms of time spent on resources training.
- The elaboration of data is quick even after a big expansion of our consolidation perimeter.
- Also the reporting routine performance (with the different release updates) have become faster despite an increasing list of accounts and other accounting dimensions.
- Even if the organization of data is performing, there is still room to grow for the customization of the platform. However, I believe that taking both performances and customization together (especially with big, all-purpose applications) is a very difficult goal to achieve.
- Being an end-user I do not have specific information supporting the impact of this solution on ROI.
