We basically use different modules in SAP ERP in my Organization, like SAP PM/MM/BI. My department basically use SAP PM Module.We support the Site team based in different locations for SAP PM requirements. This Module comes under CMMS Computerized maintenance management system. This module automates all the maintenance related activity. It also helps us to reduce the maintenance cost by analyzing the data. It incorporates all the details related to maintenance, the tool helps to optimize the maintenance and reduced the cost involves in the maintenance activity.

SAP ERP Software takes care of all the minute details as well and can have a very sophisticated use. If used properly it will help the Organization to manage all the Stuffs at one single platform and give good returns. SAP ERP is built at the ground level and can have a more customizable approach in implantation whereas in Oracle JDE this cannot be possible.

In which they are subdivided into business functions between people at Site and People at Office (Helpdesk or at Support for the people at site).
Majorly people at site are the end user of the PM Module which will do all the maintenance related activities and update the same in the system, people at office just support the team at site for Updating of any master or transactional Data's.
Other than SAP PM Module, we also use SAP MM (Material Management) Module.

1. Strong technical background (Eg. If using SAP PM module, then the person should have an experience of maintenance, so that they can think like people at site and suggest them the possibilities to implement the same in SAP).
2. Strong SAP PM technical functionalities. (SAP ERP Support people acts as a mediator between the people at site and SAP PM System), they should be an expert in both the domains.
3. Should have Advance Excel, Power BI, VBA Skills. (Usually, we get data in the form of Excel, our role is to cleanse those data so that it should be compatible with the SAP PM integration.
